We have internally advanced technical knowledge, engineering, technical and human tools and resources to design and supply a comprehensive range of products commonly required in hydroelectric installations, guaranteeing optimal performance and high reliability.

As is usual in the hydroelectric sector, each valve is a unique product for CALDITEC. The main types of valves we offer are:

Our engineering team's extensive experience in the design of this type of equipment, both in mechanical calculation and simulation using Finite Element Method (FEM) and fatigue analysis, allows us to offer reliable and safe products, generally intended for safety and emergency stop applications.

Butterfly valves

Usually used as MIV for turbine or pump protection, as well as a penstock protection valve in the event of a sudden rupture of the pipeline.

Size: from DN500 to DN3000 (other sizes upon request)

Ball valves

Ball valves are used as MIV for turbine or pump protection when the system operates at high pressures.

  • Maintenance seat: mechanical locking device (wedges).

Spool valves

Slide valves are used in bypass lines and as penstock drain valves when an axial jet and a more compact solution are required.
