The metal construction company CALDITEC It has celebrated thirty years of existence this July, with more than 4,000 completed projects for over 1,000 clients worldwide.
CALDITEC it was established in 1993 thanks to the initiative of a group of workers who decided to embark on a new industrial project.
The company, initially located on the Les Gavarres industrial estate (Tarragona), specialised in industrial boiler-making and welding. In 2014, it moved to its current site on the Riu Clar industrial estate, also in Tarragona, and started new industrial projects.
Thanks to the human team that forms part of our organisation, made up of personnel with many years of experience in activities within the metal sector, innovation has been a decisive factor by developing new businesses that has allowed us to grow and export.
A large part of the success of CALDITEC lies in its technical capability, with in-house know-how and engineering, and suitable machinery and facilities to carry out all kinds of metal structures anywhere in the world.
Its initial business areas, the Boilermaking, with structures, depots, silos, facilities and systems for the storage, transport, filling and emptying of materials, and the Hydraulics, featuring pipelines, pumping stations and process plants, have been expanded with the PHC division, hydraulic projects for the manufacture and installation of spherical, butterfly and control valves, sluice gates, pipe spools and other fabrications, which has placed CALDITEC as a globally benchmarked company in the sector.
CALDITEC It is now an industrial company based in Tarragona, comprising more than 40 staff, with a turnover ranging from 4 ME to 6 ME depending on the projects. The most important industrial sectors within its client portfolio are: the agri-food industry, the chemical industry and the hydraulic sector, which has become increasingly significant in recent years. Exports account for more than 20% of annual turnover.
